Fox 18/Revell Jewelers “Dreaming of Diamonds” Contest Rules
1. Eligibility – To be eligible to participate, viewers must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and reside in the KLJB-TV Fox 18 viewing area, which consists of the following Illinois counties: Bureau, Carroll, Hancock, Henderson, Henry, Jo Daviess, Knox, LaSalle, Lee, McDonough, Mercer, Ogle, Rock Island, Stark, Warren and Whiteside; and the following Iowa counties: Cedar, Clinton, Des Moines, Henry, Jackson, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine and Scott. Facebook users under 18 years of age are not eligible to participate. Employees of KLJB-TV Fox 18, KGCW-TV The Quad Cities’ CW, Revell Jewelers, their parent companies, advertising agencies, fulfillment companies, printers, distributors and mailers and the immediate families (or non-family members of the same household) of each are not eligible to play. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. The term “non-family members” include boyfriends, girlfriends, roommates or tenants at the same address.
2. How to Play – Viewers 18 years of age and older must log on to www.kljb.com to enter.
3. Contest Dates – The contest runs March 8th 12:00:01am through March 23rd, 11:59pm, 2014. Finalists will be selected and contacted no later than Monday, March 24th, 2014. The grand prize event will take place on Tuesday, March 25th, 2014 at Fox 18. Fox 18 reserves the right to end the contest at any time without advance warning.
4. Selection of Finalists – Four finalists will be selected at random from all entries received. These four finalists will meet at Fox 18 on March 25th, 2014 at 5:30pm. They will each receive a pillow, only one of which will contain the prize. Finalists will tear into their pillows unto someone is declared the winner. All finalists MUST be present to participate in the finale of the contest; no substitutions allowed. If a finalist is not able to attend the finale, that person will be disqualified and another finalist will be chosen.
5. Prizes – One (1) pair of diamond earrings, valued at $1,000, courtesy of Revell Jewelers.
6. General Conditions – No purchase necessary. Purchase will not improve an entrant’s chances of winning. KLJB-TV Fox 18 will not be responsible for loss of service to internet due to power loss, service interruption or any other reason that may prevent any individual from completing his/her entry. All viewers who have won ANY KLJB-TV Fox 18 or KGCW-TV The Quad Cities’ CW contests are ineligible for 90 days from the date of that contest’s completion, NOT the date of their winning. If it is determined that a winner falls into this 90 day lock-out period, they will be disqualified and another winner will be chosen. ***ALL GRAND PRIZES WINNERS ARE INELIGIBLE FROM WINNING ANY CONTESTS WITH KLJB-TV OR KGCW-TV FOR ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THEIR WINNING** All applicable Facebook privacy rules apply to this contest. Facebook does not endorse this contest; thus Facebook is not responsible for any portion of the execution, awarding or viability of prize(s). KLJB-TV will not share any collected Personally Identifiable Information (PII) with outside 3rd party sources without an entrant’s written consent. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules. Decisions of KLJB-TV Fox 18 shall be final and binding. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged. By entering, each contestant consents to the use of his/her voice, name and likeness for broadcast transmission, advertising and promotion in connection with the contest. KLJB-TV Fox 18 makes no warranty, representation or agreement that any videotape or likeness of the winners will be broadcast or otherwise used in any manner. The winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and/or publicity release and any other documentation that KLJB-TV Fox 18 requires. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws apply.
