1. Eligibility – To be eligible to participate, viewers must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and reside in the KLJB-TV viewing area, which consists of the following Illinois counties: Bureau, Carroll, Hancock, Henderson, Henry, Jo Daviess, Knox, LaSalle, Lee, McDonough, Mercer, Ogle, Rock Island, Stark, Warren and Whiteside; and the following Iowa counties: Cedar, Clinton, Des Moines, Henry, Jackson, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine and Scott. Employees of KLJB-TV (“Fox 18”), KGCW-TV (“The Quad Cities’ CW”), Adler Theatre, their parent companies, advertising agencies, fulfillment companies, printers, distributors and mailers and the immediate families (or non-family members of the same household) of each are not eligible to play. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. The term “non-family members” include boyfriends, girlfriends, roommates or tenants at the same address.
2. How to Enter – Register by logging on to Fox 18’s website at www.kljb.com and follow the contest links to complete the online registration form. To be eligible, all entries must have name, age, city, e-mail address and phone number.
3. Contest Dates – The contest begins Monday, August 25th at 12:01am and ends Sunday, September 14th, 2014 at 11:59pm. Fox 18 and Adler Theatre reserve the right to end the contest at any time without advance warning.
4. Selection of Contest Winners – Fox 18 will select one (1) entry at random for the grand prize. Fox 18 will then select another one (1) winner at random to win the runner-up prize. Only one (1) winner per household.
5. Prizes – Grand prize winner will receive four tickets to the “So You Think You Can Dance 2014 Tour” on October 14th, plus a meet-and-greet with performers. Runner-up prize is a 4-pack of tickets.
6. General Conditions – No purchase necessary. Purchase will not improve an entrant’s chances of winning. Fox 18 and Adler theatre will not be responsible for loss of service to contest web page due to power loss or any other reason that may prevent any individual from completing his/her entry. If there is any interruption of power at Fox 18 during the contest play, the contest will be replayed at the resumption of service. All viewers who have won ANY Fox 18 or Quad Cities’ CW contests are ineligible for 90 days from the date of that contest’s completion, NOT the date of their winning. If it is determined that a winner falls into this 90 day lock-out period, they will be disqualified and another winner will be chosen. All grand prize winners are ineligible from winning any contests with Fox 18 or the Quad Cities’ CW for SIX (6) MONTHS from the date of their winning. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules. Decisions of Fox 18 and Adler Theatre shall be final and binding. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or exchanged. No substitute prizes, except at the discretion of Fox 18, will be allowed. If this happens, Fox 18 and Adler Theatre will substitute prizes of identical value. By entering, each contestant consents to the use of his/her voice, name and likeness for broadcast transmission, advertising and promotion in connection with the contest. Fox 18 and Adler Theatre make no warranty, representation or agreement that any videotape or likeness of the winners will be broadcast or otherwise used in any manner. The winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and/or publicity release and any other documentation that Fox 18 and Adler Theatre require. Failure to claim prize within ten (10) business days of winning shall result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner will be selected. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws apply. Fox 18, the Quad Cities’ CW, Adler Theatre, their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and the officers, directors, employees, licensees and assignees of each accept no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession or usage of any prize awarded hereunder. Fox 18 reserves the right to revise and update the rules without advance notice.
