1. Eligibility – To be eligible to participate, viewers must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and reside in the KLJB-TV Fox 18 viewing area, which consists of the following Illinois counties: Bureau, Carroll, Hancock, Henderson, Henry, Jo Daviess, Knox, LaSalle, Lee, McDonough, Mercer, Ogle, Rock Island, Stark, Warren and Whiteside; and the following Iowa counties: Cedar, Clinton, Des Moines, Henry, Jackson, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine and Scott. Employees of KLJB-TV Fox 18, KGCW-TV The Quad Cities’ CW, their parent companies, advertising agencies, fulfillment companies, printers, distributors and mailers and the immediate families (or non-family members of the same household) of each are not eligible to play. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. The term “non-family members” include boyfriends, girlfriends, roommates or tenants at the same address. The age minimum is required by the state of Iowa as part of its state lottery rules. This applies to viewers who live in Illinois, as the prizes are being provided by the Iowa Lottery.
2. How to Play – Viewers 21 years of age and older must log on to www.kljb.com to enter. Entrants must include their full name, city, phone number and date of birth or their entry will be disqualified. Incomplete entries will be discarded.
3. Contest Dates – The contest runs Monday, December 9th, 12:01am through Sunday, December 15th, 11:59pm, 2013. Fox 18 reserves the right to end the contest at any time without advance warning.
4. Selection of Contest Winners – From all entries received over the seven (7) day entry period, one (1) grand prize winner and ten (10) runner-up winners will be selected at random. Winners will be notified by phone on Monday, December 16th, 2013 and will have ten (10) business days to claim their prizes or will forfeit said prize.
5. Prizes – Grand prize is a Sony Bravia Theater System and $50 in Iowa Lottery holiday scratch tickets, a value of $280. The ten (10) runners-up will each receive $32 worth of Iowa Lottery holiday scratch tickets.
6. General Conditions – No purchase necessary. Purchase will not improve an entrant’s chances of winning. KLJB-TV Fox 18 will not be responsible for loss of service to internet due to power loss, service interruption or any other reason that may prevent any individual from completing his/her entry. All viewers who have won ANY KLJB-TV Fox 18 or KGCW-TV The Quad Cities’ CW contests are ineligible for 90 days from the date of that contest’s completion. If it is determined that a winner falls into this 90 day lock-out period, they will be disqualified and another winner will be chosen. ALL GRAND PRIZES WINNERS ARE INELIGIBLE FROM WINNING ANY CONTESTS WITH KLJB-TV OR KGCW-TV FOR ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY (180) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THEIR WINNING. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules. Decisions of KLJB-TV Fox 18 shall be final and binding. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged. By entering, each contestant consents to the use of his/her voice, name and likeness for broadcast transmission, advertising and promotion in connection with the contest. KLJB-TV Fox 18 makes no warranty, representation or agreement that any videotape or likeness of the winners will be broadcast or otherwise used in any manner. The winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and/or publicity release and any other documentation that KLJB-TV Fox 18 requires. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws apply.
